General

In this privacy policy, we inform you about our handling of personal data as well as our processing of the same.

By personal data, we mean information that relates to an identifiable or identified natural person. Examples of this are name, address, telephone number, date of birth or e-mail address.

By the processing of personal data we understand, for example, the collection, storage, use of this data as well as the transmission to third parties or the deletion.

Accessing the Website

When you access the website, your IP address must be stored, at least temporarily, in order to enable the website to be delivered to your computer. Our servers also store the IP address for their own security purposes (according to art. 6 paragraph 1 f GDPR).

Log-Files

When you use our online services, certain information is transmitted by your Internet browser and recorded and processed by us. This includes:

  • IP address (Internet Protocol address) of the device from which the website is accessed.
  • Internet address of the website from which our website was accessed (so-called origin or referrer URL)
  • Name of the service provider used to access the website
  • Name of the files or information retrieved
  • date and time as well as duration of the retrieval
  • amount of data transferred
  • Operating system and information on the Internet browser used, including installed add-ons
  • HTTP status code

We store these in so-called log files.

We process these log files exclusively for the investigation of malfunctions and for security reasons (e.g. for the clarification of attack attempts) for up to 90 days (according to art. 6 paragraph 1 f GDPR), after which we delete them.

Excluded from this deletion are log files whose further storage is necessary for evidentiary purposes. They may be passed on to investigating authorities until the final clarification of the respective incident (according to art. 6 paragraph 1 c GDPR).

Tracking and Cookies

We do not use tracking technologies on our websites and no user data is collected for tracking purposes.
We use a technically necessary cookie that is used to implement the language selection on the website.

Contacting us

If you contact us, e.g. via one of our contact forms or by e-mail, the data you provide (e.g. your e-mail address, your name if applicable, your telephone number, etc.) will be processed by us in order to process your inquiry and, if necessary, to contact you (according to art. 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 b GDPR). We delete the data accruing in this context as soon as they are no longer required for the aforementioned purpose and insofar as the deletion does not conflict with any statutory retention obligations. If you provide us with personal data of another person, you must first take the necessary data protection measures for this, e.g. obtain the required prior consent of this person and inform them of the purpose for which you are transferring the data to us.

Rights of data subjects

You have the right to information about the processing of personal data concerning you (according to art. 15 GDPR), a right to data portability (according to art. 20 GDPR) and, where applicable, rights to rectification (according to art. 16 GDPR), erasure (according to art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (according to art. 18 GDPR) and/or objection to processing (according to art. 21 GDPR), as well as a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
